Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains what personal data Nishita Solutions collects through this website, its chat assistant, phone, email and WhatsApp, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
Last updated 17 October 2026
In short
We collect only what we need to reply to you and to work with our clients. We never sell your data, and we do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics runs only if you allow it.
Chat messages are processed by Google's Gemini service, so please do not type personal details in the chat. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time.
Who we are
Nishita Solutions ("we", "us") is a digital marketing, website development, video editing and business consulting firm at SB-18, near Durga Mandap, Dayanandnagar, Bomikhal, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 751010. We decide why and how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
For any question about this policy or your data, email support@nishitasolutions.in or call +91 91144 22055 (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm).
What we collect
When you visit the website
Our server keeps security records of each visit: your IP address, your type of browser, the page you asked for and the time. We use them only to keep the website safe and working.
If you press "Accept analytics", Google Analytics also records which pages you visit, roughly which city you are in, what kind of device and browser you use, how fast pages load and which buttons you press. It does not receive your name, phone number or email. If you press "Reject", Google Analytics does not load at all.
Your theme setting and your cookie choice are saved in your own browser, not on our server.
When you use the chat assistant
Nishita Assistant, the chat on this website, is a computer program, not a person. When you send a message, it goes to Google's Gemini service, which writes the reply. Google also receives the earlier messages of that chat and the page of our website you are on, so that the reply makes sense.
Before a message leaves your browser, and again on our server, we remove phone numbers, email addresses, ID numbers such as PAN or Aadhaar, bank and card numbers, and the name you introduce yourself with. This works by recognizing patterns and may not catch everything, so please do not type personal or confidential details.
We do not keep a copy of your chat. It stays in your browser tab while the chat is open, and it is cleared when you close the tab or choose "End and delete chat". Messages that Google has already received are handled under Google's terms.
To stop misuse, we count chat requests using a scrambled form of your IP address that changes every day. We do not store the address itself.
When you use the contact card
If you want us to contact you, the chat offers a contact card. It asks for your name, your mobile number or email, how you would like us to reply, your company if you want to add it, and a short summary of your question that you can check and edit before you send it.
These details come straight to Nishita Solutions. They are never sent to Google's Gemini service. With them we record the page you were on, your type of browser and the notice you accepted, with the time.
When you call, email or message us
If you call us, email us, message us on WhatsApp or send an enquiry form where this website offers one, we receive what you choose to share: usually your name, phone number or email, your company and what you need. We may keep short notes of a call.
WhatsApp is run by Meta, which handles your chat under its own terms. Please do not send bank, card, password or health details through the chat, a form or WhatsApp.
If you become a client
We keep the details of your contact persons, proposals, contracts, invoices and project records. If a project needs other personal data, such as the payroll details of your employees, we first agree in writing how it is handled.
Why we use it
We use personal data only for these purposes:
- To reply to your enquiry, understand what you need and, if you ask, send a proposal or quotation
- To answer your questions in the chat and pass your enquiry to our team
- To deliver the work you engage us for, bill you and meet tax and company law
- To keep the website secure and stop spam and misuse
- To see which pages help visitors, only if you allow analytics
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. A person from our team reads every enquiry before we reply, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Why we are allowed to use it
- Replies to your enquiry: you gave us your details so that we could answer you, and the Act allows us to use them for that purpose (section 7(a)). If you tell us you are no longer interested, we stop.
- Chat messages sent to Google: your consent. You give it by sending a message after the notice in the chat, and you can withdraw it at any time by ending the chat.
- Google Analytics: your consent, given when you press "Accept analytics". You can withdraw it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
- Security records, tax records and replies to lawful requests from authorities: our duties under the law.
Who sees it
Our own team sees the enquiries you send us. We also use a few service providers, each only for its own task:
- Google, through its Gemini service, writes the chat replies. On the plan we use today, Google may use the messages it receives to improve its products, and people at Google may read them. Google handles them under its own terms.
- Google Analytics counts visits for us, only if you press "Accept analytics".
- Our hosting provider runs the server that hosts this website and the chat, and keeps its security records.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and checks for automated spam. It sees technical details such as your IP address and browser while your request passes through its network.
- The providers of our email and business software hold the emails and enquiry records we work with.
- Meta runs WhatsApp and handles WhatsApp chats under its own terms.
We share personal data with authorities only when the law requires it. We never sell it.
Where it is stored and how we protect it
This website runs on a server in India, behind Cloudflare's network. Some of our providers, including Google, store or process data outside India.
We use encrypted connections for the whole website, limit access to the people who need it, and check for spam and misuse. If a security incident affects your data, we will tell you without delay what happened and what you can do, and report it to the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries, contact card details, WhatsApp chats and call notes: 12 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client.
- Chat conversations: we do not keep them. Messages that Google has already received are handled under Google's terms.
- Client records: as long as tax and company law require.
- Security records on our server: 400 days, then deleted.
- Google Analytics: Google deletes the detailed records after 2 months. Its cookies last up to 12 months in your browser.
- Records of privacy requests: 3 years after we close them.
If a law requires us to keep something for a minimum time and you ask us to delete it, we lock it, use it for nothing else and delete it when that time ends.
Your rights and how to use them
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us:
- For a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it and who we shared it with
- To correct, complete or update it
- To erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it
- To withdraw a consent you gave, for the future
- To name someone who can use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself
- To resolve a grievance about how we handle your data
To use any of these rights, email support@nishitasolutions.in, call +91 91144 22055 (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm) or write to us at SB-18, near Durga Mandap, Dayanandnagar, Bomikhal, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 751010.
Tell us the phone number or email you used with us, so that we can find your data. Before we share or delete anything, we may send a code to that number or email to make sure it is you.
We acknowledge your request within 2 working days and complete it within 30 days.
Our grievance officer
Our grievance officer answers questions and complaints about how we use personal data. You can reach our grievance officer at support@nishitasolutions.in and +91 91144 22055 (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm), or by post at SB-18, near Durga Mandap, Dayanandnagar, Bomikhal, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 751010.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website, the chat and our services are meant for business owners and professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data about children, and we do not track or profile them. If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website saves a few small items in your browser that it needs to work: your cookie choice, your theme setting, and a cookie that keeps a chat together. Google Analytics sets its cookies only if you press "Accept analytics". We do not use advertising cookies.
Our cookie policy page lists each cookie and storage item, with what it does and how long it lasts. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the "Last updated" date at the start of this page. If a change matters to you and you have allowed us to contact you, we also tell you directly.
This policy is available in English. Hindi and Odia versions are being prepared.
